2. If I was Holden I would go call my family and tell them that i am in the city and to pick me up, because I would love to spend some time with my family before I go back to school.
3. No I would not want my friend to go out with someone who has sex in their mind, because I would know that my friend wouldn't like sex and they would not like to get pregnant at such a early age. Also I would know that my friend doesn't want to have sex anyways, since it is probably against their religion until a certain age, so i wouldn't suggest a person with sex in their minds to my friend if she is not comfortable with it.

Response To Anton's Questions By Anoojan
5)I think that he has a strong relationship with his History Teacher, because since i read the book i realized that the History Teacher kind of acts like a parent to Holden. Also since our 3rd greatest relationship is our bonds with our parents i think this is the kind of relationship occurs between Holden's History teacher and himself. The reason why i think they have this kind of relationship is the fact that the History teacher asks Holden why is he failing and his other courses at school as well as History.
2) If i was replaced into Holden's life the one thing i would change is his attitude. The reason why i think i would like to change his attitude is because his attitude gets him into a lot of trouble. Some kinds of Trouble that I see him in are fights both verbally and physically.
Comment: Anton these questions are really great they really get me connected to Holden and what happens in his life.

Section 1 Answers ~ Anton
3) I Would feel underachieved and would have thought deeply of what I've been thinking for my whole entire life. Sadness and depression are just some of the common feelings that I would also expect of myself because I realize that there are no extension or future in my life. However, on the other hand, I also understand that there is still time to change and adjust my life. They age of 17 is still very young and premature, meaning that if I put my heart to it, I can still achieve great wonders in the time to come.
5) I think that out of all the other people, Holden has the best relationship with his history teacher besides his family members. Holden is greatly welcomed into his history teacher's house and relaxes and have conversations as if they were related. If I didn't know better, I would've said that they had a grandfather to grandson relationship. Besides for the cookies and milk that he offers, his history teacher really tries to make Holden pass his course. However, due to the fact that Holden showed no sign of achieving, he had to fail him.

First Impression By Anoojan
The first time I read the Catcher in the Rye I thought that the book will be boring and I was forced to read it because I had to get a good mark for English. When I read the first chapter I was thinking in my head that “Ok this book is total crap because to me it felt like the character in the story whose name is Holden Caulfield is giving me a bad felling about the whole story.”, since he was putting me in a bad mood. When I kept reading through the story I realized that the protagonist which is Holden Caulfield is someone that I can relate to someone I know in my life. Also when I continued reading it got really interesting, because Holden Caulfield breaks so many rules and he has a unique personality. His unique personality is what made me keep reading. Also what I realized is that the way the author describes the setting to me and the other readers make me keep reading. When I read the first 6 chapters it was a little boring, because there was no really good plot or problem. After I read chapter 7 to chapter 10 it started to get interesting, because the way the author describes the fight and the blood that is dropping from the character’s nose was just amazing. It scared me for a few seconds because it felt like I was there watching the fight. Now I everyday when I go home or go to school I can’t wait to read this book even when all my teachers says patience is a virtue. Also when I read this book it’s not for the group or the English mark, it’s just for my pleasure of reading.

The First Impression By Anton Wong
The book is written in 1st person and I didn't figure out the main character's name until he wrote a letter to his teacher. The main character's name is Holden Caulfield and he is 17 years old. His academics are very low and because of that he has been transferred out of 4 schools and has been currently kicked out of his current school," Pencey Prep." In this semester at Pencey Prep he has 5 subjects and has failed a total of 4. He says that he isn't trying, but I think it is just an excuse of him not caring about his own future. I also get a feeling that Holden is a bad kid. This isn't just because he is failing in school, but also he is a heavy smoker. He mentioned that when he was running away from a teacher and had a hard time catching his breath afterwords. In addition, Holden has a very rude or straightforward way of expressing himself. He likes to use the words, "Damn, Goddam, yea my ass, oh boy, anyways, etc..." The way he talks seems like as if we have the same interests that he has or that the audience knows exactly what he's talking about. To me Holden seems like to be a very negative character from these first impressions. Holden currently lives near his school away from his actual home in New York. He calls his current home near Pencey Prep a dump, but i believe he is just saying that because he hates school. Holden often uses the phrases, "I mean it, I really do, and it really was," a lot in his sentences as if the audience doesn't really believe he is telling us the truth about what he is saying. A couple pet peeves of Holden's are Phoneys and fakes. This was mentioned when Holden was talking about his previous Headmaster at another school acting all kind and happy around the student's parents when he was really a jerk. On the other hand, he likes his history teacher, Spencer. Spencer is a 70 year old man, and I get the feeling that he is a very honest, respectable and trusting man. He tried very hard to make Holden pass his class, however Holden gave no signs of effort. He is very welcoming to holden to his house and acts as if he was a grandfather to him. Spencer is truly a kind old man.
A positive aspect of Holden is the fact that he is a very good fencer. He made the fencing team and likes to mention it a lot. He is responsible about it and likes to be on time to set up and put away the fencing gears back into the gym. From what I get in first impressions, I believe that Holden lives in a family of four. He has his parents and an older brother. I get the sense that his parents doesn't like people telling personal stuff about them. This was mentioned from Holden that they are very touchy, especially his dad. Holden's brother(D.B) is a very nice man from first impressions. He visits Holden every week from Hollywood and chills with him. His brother is now a famous writer after his book ,"The Secret Goldfish," was published. I get the sense that he wants to live back at home rather than his current location, because of his family and the place that he was brought up in.
From first impressions, this is what I am getting a sense of so far from the book.
