1) Holden Caulfield doesn't mention about his parents much throughout the story, however he does refer to his brother a lot. How do you think Holden thinks about his brother and what impact does he have on his life?
2) If you were to be replaced and to live the life of Holden, is there anything that you want want to change? Why or why not.
3) Holden is now at the age of 17, with minimal amount of achievements made into his life. How would you feel if you were in his position and have a minimal future as you grow up?
4) From your answer in question 3, how would you alter your life from the path that Holden took in order to make up or start planning so that you would have a better outlook in your future?
5)In the beginning of the story, Holden visits his history teacher out of all the other teachers before he left. What kind of relationship do you think they have with one another?
